The American Red Cross Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED course equips students to recognize and care for a variety of first aid breathing and cardiac emergencies involving adults children and infants. It is designed for students who need a certification that satisfies OSHA workplace or other regulatory requirements. Upon successful completion a valid 2 year digital certificate for Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED is issued.

This course is offered in a blended learning format, which includes two required components. Participants must first complete a self-paced online portion through the American Red Cross Learning Center prior to attending the instructor-led, hands-on skills session. The in-person session focuses on practical skill demonstration and verification with a certified instructor. Successful completion of both the online module and the in-person skills evaluation is required to receive certification.
